Enablement Service
Our Mental Health and/or Autism Community Enablement Service provides early intervention for people who are living with mental ill health and/or autism.
Supported by a team Support Workers we encourage and assist people to be as independent as possible through focusing on individual strengths and needs.
The dedicated support team:
- Promote and support skills development
- Encourage individual choice and control
- Empower independence through tailored planning and goal setting
- Explore opportunities for paid employment to increase financial independence
- Support to maintain and develop social and support networks
- Develop links with community partners to facilitate access to appropriate services
Who is this service for?
The service supports adults aged 18 and over with mental health issues and/or autism.
How do I access the service?
The service can be accessed via a direct referral from Solihull Borough Councils Adult Social Care (Mental Health and All Age Disability) teams.
