    We recognise the right of individuals to be left alone, undisturbed, free from intrusion and public attention both with their personal affairs and their belongings.

  • Personal Choice

    We support each individual to exercise their personal choice in regard to opportunities and lifestyle; ensuring that each individual has a say in decisions about their support service.

  • Confidentiality of Information

    We do not disclose any personal information about individuals unless this has been agreed with the individual concerned for the purpose of assisting in his or her support.

  • Medication

    Individuals are fully informed about their medication needs and supported, whenever possible, to make decisions about their medical treatment alongside professional medical advice.

  • Access to Information

    We ensure every individual has access to information about the objectives of their support and a detailed explanation of the service being offered along with their legal rights.

  • Family and Friends

    Individuals are supported to maintain continued access to family, friends, facilities and the community.

  • Discrimination

    We will not discriminate against individual or staff on the grounds of race, nationality, language, gender, religion and beliefs, age, sex or sexual orientation, or social standing. 

  • Complaints and Protection

    All individuals have access to a formal complaint procedure and to be represented by a friend or adviser if they so wish.

  • Dignity

    Every person is valued and treated with respect in all aspects of their daily life, regardless of their circumstances. We provide skilled, sensitive support to enable everyone to achieve the highest possible quality of life.

  • Supporting Independence

    Individuals should have the opportunity to think, act and make decisions without reference to another person, or without other unreasonable restrictions.

  • Fulfilment of Aspirations

    Individuals will be given support and freedom to realise personal aspirations and abilities in all respects of daily life; respecting their social, emotional, spiritual, cultural, political and sexual needs.

  • Reviews

    We regularly review of each individual’s circumstances and support them to be involved

  • Consultation

    Individuals will be consulted and be fully involved in discussions about their arrangements and supported to make informed choices about their future.
