Confidentiality of Information
We do not disclose any personal information about individuals unless this has been agreed with the individual concerned for the purpose of assisting in his or her support.
Individuals are fully informed about their medication needs and supported, whenever possible, to make decisions about their medical treatment alongside professional medical advice.
Access to Information
We ensure every individual has access to information about the objectives of their support and a detailed explanation of the service being offered along with their legal rights
Family and Friends
Individuals are supported to maintain continued access to family, friends, facilities and the community.
We will not discriminate against individual or staff on the grounds of race, nationality, language, gender, religion and beliefs, age, sex or sexual orientation, or social standing.
Complaints and Protection
All individuals have access to a formal complaint procedure and to be represented by a friend or adviser if they so wish
